Pranav Amin is the Chief Business Development Officer
at Alembic Limited and one of the Directors of the Company. Alembic was
established in 1907 and is an integrated pharmaceutical company, which
was started with a mission to give access to the best healthcare
products at an affordable price, its aim is to become a knowledge
driven global pharmaceutical company with the highest level of
operational excellence in all spheres.
Pranav Amin has spearheaded the organization in the
new millennium. He has strategized marketing alliances and supply chain
partnerships with leading multinational pharmaceutical companies as
well as distributors and retails chains in US and European
markets.Alembic recently out-licensed a Drug Delivery System technology
to UCB
Belgium under his leadership. Alembic's exports have shown a dramatic
growth in the Regulated as well as other international markets.
Pranav did a double major in economics and industrial
management from Carnegie Mellon University. He also completed his MBA
from Thunderbird, the international graduate school of management.

Swaroop Vakkalanka, PhD |
Swaroop Vakkalanka is a renowned pharma R&D
professional from India with rich and rewarding experience in research
and strategy management. His past experience includes serving as core
research member and research head in the areas of Oncology,
Inflammation, Pain and Metabolic Disorders.
He led diversified scientific teams successfully from
drug design to clinical development. He played a pivotal role in
bringing
8 NCEs into clinical development right from target concept out of which
5 NCEs as Head of Drug Discovery and Clinical development. He served in
R&D divisions of leading Indian pharmaceutical companies most
recently as President, Drug Discovery and Clinical Development for
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. To his credit he led the R&D teams
for four out-licensing deals in the last four years in the areas of
Inflammation, Pain and Metabolic disorders with cumulative deal value
of
> $ 800 Million. He is a member of several professional
organizations. Dr. Swaroop obtained his PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences
from Andhra University, India
